CASH GRANTS TO HAVE HIV MISSUSED

COORDINATOR of the Association of people with HIV in the district civil servants Chunya, Revocatus Rugeiyamu recently has been accused of misusing grant funds the party.

That and some of the members who did not want their names mentioned, they accused the Coordinator that has gnawed the funds provided for special government program to help its employees who are living with HIV.

According to the delegates, a document issued by the Government notes that public servants should be helped by the government to provide them with services such as transportation to counseling centers and subsistence.

They said that the document was adopted in November Saturday in 2006 but surprising since these subsidies ceased in 2011 were created where each object was given Tshs. 150,000 despite having collected Coordinator clinic attendance cards to the victims and apply for money to pay them every month.

     "Our coordinator collected our card for the purpose of going to pray for money to fund grants, but since we do get in 2011 until now we have not received each month again when it ought to be paid," said one of the delegates.

That made them to write letters of complaint to the Public Service Management with reference number C/AC56/221/01/C/62 accusing him of misusing the Coordinator and stigmatize all their money when you question is why they are not treated.

Acting director of District Council Chunya Esther Mwakalila it failed to explain his office for that information with details of the district service officer Solomon Kimilike.
